Imagine going back in time 800 years when the South West was the home to the Puebloan People. It is a beautiful land covered with many ancient and sacred ruins. Theses abandoned and sacred sites stretch from Colorado and Utah through New Mexico and Arizona.
Mesa Verde National Park is one such sacred place. It was once home to a thriving agricultural community that housed 1000's of the Puebloan people. They mysteriously abandoned these cliff dwellings around 1200 A.D. after living in the Mesa Tops for over 700 years.
Protected as a National Park, it is a place shrouded in mystery which gives us a window into the past.
